Setting Up IPTV on Samsung Smart TV: Step-by-Step

Samsung Smart TV screen showing MAC address activation for IPTV setup

Samsung Smart TVs don't support sideloading apps the way Firestick or Android TV boxes do, so the setup process works a little differently — mainly through MAC address activation. Here's the full walkthrough.

Step 1: Open the Samsung Apps Store

On your Samsung TV remote, press the Home button and navigate to the Apps section.

Step 2: Search for an IPTV App

Search for "Smart IPTV" or "IPTV Smarters Pro" and install your preferred app directly from the Samsung Apps store.

Step 3: Find Your MAC Address

Open the installed app. It will display a unique MAC address on screen, similar to this:

MAC: XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX

This address is unique to your app installation and is how our system links your subscription to your TV.

Step 4: Send Us Your MAC Address

Message our WhatsApp support team with the MAC address shown on your screen, along with your order details.

Activation Time: We typically activate MAC-based devices within 5–15 minutes of receiving your MAC address.

Step 5: Restart and Watch

Once activated, close and reopen the app on your Samsung TV. Your channels and VOD library should load automatically — no username or password needed for MAC-based apps.

Troubleshooting

  • If the app shows a blank screen, restart your TV and reopen the app
  • Double-check the MAC address was sent to support without typos
  • Ensure your TV's date and time settings are correct — incorrect clock settings can prevent activation
